Make a Shop App for Your Neighbourhood Duka

Your child builds a working point-of-sale app for a small Kenyan shop, such as a duka, a juice bar, a salon or a mama mboga stall, and puts it on the web at a real address they can open on a phone. Over 13 live online sessions they learn to show products and prices in KSh, add items to a cart, work out totals, change and receipts, update stock, handle mistakes, save data so the app remembers, and see the day's takings and best seller. They test it in a class Shop Day, fix what breaks, and finish with a live demo. Your child should already know programming basics in any language: variables, decisions, loops and functions. Needs a laptop and internet. No real payments or customer details are used.
